Hey everyone! Do you girls know about the American Girl movies? The past ones being Samantha, Felicity and Molly? Well, now, Kit Kitteredge: An American Girl Mystery opens in theatres July 2nd (except select ones where it opened June 20th). It stars Abigail Breslin as Kit and introducing Willow Smith, Will Smith's daughter, as Countee.

Also, there are rumors going around that Sammi Hanratty will be playing in the next AG movie and it is going to be about the new 2009 American Girl of the Year doll! She was interviewed on the red carpet premiere of the Kit movie and told interviewers that it would be out in January 2009 but wasn't allowed to talk much more about it.
