If you like the Heir series by Cinda Williams Chima, the final book of the series (for now) is called The Dragon Heir and is set to come out on September 9th, 2008.

For software, Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis is coming out April 9th, 2008. It is rated E for everyone. In the game, Sherlock Holmes matches wits with the world's greatest thief, Arsene Lupin. This Sherlock Holmes game is going to be a lot like the Nancy Drew games, with great 3D graphics.

For video games, Imagine: Rock Star is coming out June 3rd, 2008 on DS and you get to create your own rock band and jam out of four different instruments by yourself or wirelessly with your friends.  

Also, Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness is coming out sometime in 2008 for DS.  This game takes to the sea and gets shipwrecked! Now you must build a new life on an island, and explore the mysteries of its previous inhabitants.
